A new section of the website is launched today, a section which hopes to promote the volunteering opportunities that the Salesians have available. The main ways to volunteer with the Salesians of Don Bosco are through BOVA (which offers an overseas volunteering experience) and at Savio House (a year of retreat work). Savio House works closely with Brettargh Holt, the retreat centre of the Salesian sisters, so the opportunity to volunteer at this centre is also advertised. The page contains testimonies from people who have volunteered for the Salesians in these ways, and we hope to develop the page further and continually update it with fresh opportunities and stories of volunteer experiences.

The new page is part of a move by the Salesian Youth Ministry team to use to use the web to share the good things that are going on in the province, and make the information about the great volunteering opportunities available to as many people as possible.
